Looking for a Pinterest marketing membership community where education and guidance are constantly kept up to date? Wondering what the best way to learn Pinterest marketing is for you?

Just as there isn’t a one size fits all strategy for using Pinterest to market your business, there also isn’t a one size fits all best way to learn Pinterest marketing. Basically, you teach yourself DIY, join a community where you are taught by an expert or coach, or hire someone to do Pinterest for you.

Pinterest Educational Options

There are a ton of Pinterest marketing education options out there including…

But there is a big challenge with many of these and that is about them staying updated and current. Pinterest is constantly changing things. And it seems like it does more often than any other popular platform. Keeping up with the endless flow of changes feels like a full-time job in itself for those marketing on Pinterest. In fact, larger companies DO have someone working full time managing their Pinterest accounts! But most small business owners, bloggers, and digital product sellers do not have budgets for full-time Pinterest managers.

In my quest to learn about all things Pinterest marketing, I’ve taken many courses and have participated in Kate Ahl’s public Simple Pin Media Facebook Group for many years. This is a huge and busy group (20K members at the time of this post) with Pinterest questions being asked all the time. It’s well moderated and is a great community overall but… it’s noisy.

So. Many. Marketers.

So. Many. Questions.

The Solution

Well in 2019 Kate Ahl, owner of the above group, opened the Simple Pin Collective Pinterest marketing membership community. This is a paid membership so naturally, one expects high-quality resources, coaching, and constant updating. The Simple Pin Collective includes…

  • Constantly updated resources for growing your business with Pinterest
  • A step by step framework for developing an effective Pinterest strategy
  • Real-time training videos
  • Live monthly coaching calls
  • Monthly training sessions (in addition to the coaching calls)
  • Access to a private, active (and muuuuch smaller) Facebook group

* the group is where you get up-to-the-hour info on Pinterest changes, help from Kate, her team, and a group of mentors

So what does the Simple Pin Collective Pinterest marketing membership community look like behind the curtains? Well, when you log in as a member you have access to…

  • Monthly trainings (on SEO, strategy, analytics, how to grow your email list, and a ton more)
  • Recordings of the bi-monthly live coaching calls
  • Pinterest marketing checklists
  • Image guides, templates, and lessons
  • Toolkits
  • Promoted Pins educational resources
  • Content trends and calendars
  • And more training is added every month

In addition to the Simple Pin Collective Dashboard where all of the above is housed (and added to each month), there is a private Pinterest Marketing Facebook Group. This is a smallish group (currently about +/- 200) of super-smart business owners from a wide variety of niches who are using Pinterest to market their business. It’s a positive, supportive, and encouraging group. It’s also well moderated, friendly, professional, and best of all up-to-date educational.

Having the active Facebook Group really helps with motivation and accountability in taking action on what is learned each month. There’s also the opportunity to join smaller breakout groups with members who meet privately to further support and hold each other accountable. I’m currently not part of a breakout group, however, due to not having the time.

The Importance Of Ongoing Pinterest Education

Learning Pinterest marketing is one of the smartest business decisions you can make.

Pinterest is a very powerful search and discovery platform. Managed well, it can drive a ton of traffic to your website or blog – more than any popular “social media” platform. It works very much like Google. Only it’s visual rather than text.

When you choose the right keywords to target, use beautiful images, SEO your boards, pin titles, pin descriptions and use sound marketing strategies, traffic from Pinterest can grow exponentially.

Develop Your Own Unique Pinterest Marketing Strategy

Other people’s Pinterest growth strategies are unlikely to work for you. You need to be able to gather all the information you learn to develop an effective Pinterest marketing strategy for your unique business.

Strategies for marketing on platforms like Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok do not work on Pinterest. Why? Because they are Social Media platforms while Pinterest is basically a visual Search Engine.

When the Simple Pin Collective opened its doors in May of 2019 I joined right away as a founding member. What you’ll get in the Collective now compared to then is amazing because new educational resources have been added every month since then, and they are kept updated. I can’t stress enough the importance of having the latest information and strategies for Pinterest.

The Simple Pin Collective Pinterest marketing community is one of the best investments I’ve made in my business. If you’re looking for a one-stop place for all things Pinterest marketing so you can stop chasing down accurate knowledge and information, check it out to see if it would be a good fit for you too.
